Specialist Nursing Care Home
Specialist nursing care
All our homes provide individual nursing care, delivered to the highest possible clinical standards. This includes: Specialist dementia care; nursing and palliative care, all offered in a spirit of kindness.
Highly trained and working as an integral part of a close-knit team, our nurses attend to the more complex needs of residents 24 hours a day, liaising closely with other health professionals, families and friends to ensure the needs of their loved ones are being met to the best of their abilities.
We also provide both respite and short-term care for people. Where possible, we will support those who are working towards returning home, or who just need a break before going back to their families.
Respite care
Respite may be a good option after the sudden onset of an illness, or to support the family in their caring role. People’s needs, preferences and objectives are assessed, and a plan is put into place to ensure they feel secure and happy.
Residents can always choose how much they wish to be involved in the daily activities of the home, but we guarantee they will always be fully supported by our dedicated teams, many of whom have been with us throughout their careers and are devoted to those they care for and to their colleagues. In return, we do our outmost to empower and support our dedicated staff and help them to continue to be the best they can be.
Intermediate care
This is offered when a short-term, but intensive, solution is required with a view to returning home permanently – and usually involves other health care professionals to help people get back on their feet.
Close communication is always maintained with families to ensure everyone involved can support the resident during this time of transition.
Palliative & End of Life Care
Should a person be entering the last stages of life, we have skilled teams to offer comprehensive, compassionate and dignified care.
Our dedicated teams are highly trained in this field and work closely with their colleagues in our homes and other medical professionals to ensure they deliver the very best in clinical care while accommodating psychological, social and spiritual needs.
Treatment will involve medicines, therapies and any other support necessary. Families and friends are involved throughout – and we are always there to offer a comforting hand to hold.
